寶興位于四川盆地西部、雅安市北部，為古青衣羌國(guó)所在地，元代末期
為土司制，1929年改土歸流以轄地建縣，取《禮記·中庸》中“寶藏興
焉”之意命名。
Baoxing is located in the western part of the Sichuan Basin and the northern part of Ya'an
City. It is the location of the ancient Qingyi Qiang Kingdom. In the late Yuan Dynasty, it was
under the chieftain system. In 1929, it was renamed as a county under the jurisdiction of
Tuguiliu and named after the meaning of \"treasure prospers\" in the Book of Rites.

朱德等老一輩無產(chǎn)階級(jí)革命家留下光輝足跡，書寫了“翻越夾金山”“陳云出川”等革命壯舉。四川長(zhǎng)征干部學(xué)院雅安
夾金山分院位于縣城穆坪鎮(zhèn)，成為面向全省、輻射全國(guó)的革命傳統(tǒng)和紅色教育培訓(xùn)基地。
Baoxing is the starting point of the Snow Mountain Grassland in the Long
March National Cultural Park, and Jiajin Mountain within its borders is the first
large snow mountain crossed by the Central Red Army during the Long March.
Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Zhu De and other older generation proletarian
revolutionaries left glorious footprints and wrote revolutionary feats such as
\"crossing Jiajin Mountain\" and \"Chen Yun leaving Sichuan\". The Ya'an Jiajin
Mountain Branch of Sichuan Long March Cadre College is located in Muping

Baoxing is the world's first scientific discovery site and type specimen production area for giant pandas.
Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, it has provided 123 giant pandas to the country,
including 17 as national gifts to friendly countries. There are currently 181 wild giant pandas, 81.7% of
which are included in the scope of the Giant Panda National Park and have been rated as pilot counties for
standardized construction of the park.

寶興河系青衣江主源，發(fā)源于夾金山南麓，青衣江河貫穿全境，大小溪流縱
橫交錯(cuò)，水能蘊(yùn)藏量140多萬千瓦。青衣江主河道全長(zhǎng)104.4公里，天然落差
3330米，平均比降25.5%，特別適宜引水式開發(fā)。地表水水資源量23.61億立
方米，其平均水資源可利用總量為6.27億立方米。寶興在營(yíng)電站31座，總計(jì)裝
機(jī)約109.7755萬千瓦，其中華能寶興河電力股份有限公司所屬4家電站裝機(jī)70
萬千瓦時(shí)，已建成220千伏變電站1座、110千伏變電站6座。
The main source of the Baoxing River system is the Qingyi River, which originates from the
southern foot of Jiajin Mountain. The Qingyi River runs through the entire area, crisscrossing
with small and large streams, and has a water energy reserve of over 1.4 million kilowatts. The
main channel of Qingyi River is 104.4 kilometers long, with a natural drop of 3330 meters and an
average gradient of 25.5%, making it particularly suitable for water diversion development. The
surface water resources amount to 2.361 billion cubic meters, with an average total available water
resources of 627 million cubic meters. Baoxing has 31 operating power stations with a total installed
capacity of approximately 1.097755 million kilowatts. Among them, four power stations under
Huaneng Baoxinghe Electric Power Co., Ltd. have an installed capacity of 700000 kilowatt hours,
and one 220 kV substation and six 110 kV substations have been built.

Baoxing belongs to a subtropical monsoon humid climate, with no severe cold in winter and
no scorching heat in summer. The number of days with excellent ambient air quality is 357,
and the comprehensive air quality index ranks first among all districts and counties in the
city. Especially in the Jiajin Mountain area, there is no summer throughout the year, with an
average temperature of 15 degrees Celsius. There are a total of 2343 tourism resources within
the territory, ranking first in the city and among the top in the province. Among them,
