Tare weighing of empty transport containers at the beginning of the

DWS system at the entry of the sorting center
The automatic DWS system can be installed at the entry of the sorting
center. At the beginning the system identifies the package with a
scanner. Then the dynamic in-motion scale CWL-P weighs the package
before a volume measuring system with camera determines the
length, width and height and calculates the volume. The terminal iS
75 G2 serves as a control unit and is the EDP interface. As it is an
automatic data recording system the devices are equipped with an
alibi memory approved by the German Physical Technical Institution
(PTB).

Devices of the GLM-Bmaxx series can be used as OEM belt labeler in stand-alone
operation or can be directly controlled by EDP systems. Thanks to the Bizerba
system design, it is also suitable for use as a total value printer for price
labeling lines and checkweigher lines. Since it smoothly integrates into
existing conveyor technology the Ethernet-capable GLM-Bmaxx can also be
used in connection with the dynamic scales Bizerba CWL-P and in Bizerba
DWS systems (dimensioning, weighing, scanning). In the GLM-B maxx, label
rolls with a diameter of up to 300 mm can be processed. The printers are
network compatible and can also be controlled directly via the Internet. The
new PC-based hardware provides more memory space and fast label data
processing. The operating terminal GT-7C with color display can be operated
ergonomically and thus reduces operating errors. Optionally, an operating
terminal with color touch display is available.

The models of the GLM-Bmaxx series can be integrated as stand-alone
labelers anywhere in your conveyor systems and are controlled by EDP
systems. Thanks to the Bizerba system design, they are also suitable for
use as total value printers for price labeling lines and checkweigher lines.
The combinable Ethernet-capable labelers are ideal for use with the
dynamic Bizerba scale CWL-P or in Bizerba DWS (dimensioning, weighing
and scanning) systems. In the GLM-Bmaxx, label rolls with a diameter of
up to 300 mm can be processed. Thus retrofitting time is reduced -
especially with large labels. The printers are network compatible and can

DWS體積測量及稱重系統(tǒng)，該系統(tǒng)可采集貨物的完整數(shù)據(jù)（體積，重量，識(shí)別
碼）。專門為每小時(shí)500件的中小處理量而設(shè)計(jì)，可以打印出用于運(yùn)費(fèi)計(jì)算的所
有相關(guān)數(shù)據(jù)，而且只需一個(gè)鍵即可生成運(yùn)輸單據(jù)。該系統(tǒng)由久經(jīng)考驗(yàn)的VMS
510型體積測量儀、牢固耐用的靜態(tài)秤和一個(gè)手持條形碼掃描器組成，這些設(shè)備
集成在一個(gè)穩(wěn)定的AKL-tec框架中。DWS 510/520是一個(gè)完整的解決方法， 只
需短短數(shù)分鐘，即可準(zhǔn)備好運(yùn)行。

Bizerba have developed the combined DWS 510/520 Dimensioning and Weighing
System for the complete data acquisition (volumn, weights and identification) of
dispatches by courier, express, and packet services. It’s specially designed for small and
medium throughputs of up to 500 parcels per hour and prints out all relevant data for
freight calculation and produces the shipping papers at the press of a button.
The system comprises the tried and tested VMS 510 Dimensioning System, a robust static
scale and a hand-held scanner to detect barcode information - all integrated in a sturdy
AKL- tec frame. DWS510/520 is a complete solution and is ready to operate in very few
miniues.
Of course, it is approved to the relevant OIML and MID standards. In addition, the system
is connectable to the Bizerba PSS Professional Edition parcel shipping system including
the fully automated Bizerba GLM-Levo labeler.
